Meet Our New Leader: Introducing Ashley, the Dynamic Force Steering Our Kayaks Into the Future

Door County Kayak Tours welcomes Ashley Hasstedt as she takes on the role as our new Manager!

Door County Kayak Tours, a leader in Door County’s outdoor tourism, is excited to announce the appointment of Ashley Hasstedt as our new Manager. Ashley has a passion for leading and a love for the outdoors making her an ideal fit for our growing company.

Ashley comes to Door County Kayak Tours with multiple years of experience in management and 12 years of experience in kayaking the shores of Lake Michigan and Wisconsin Lakes and Rivers. Prior to joining Door County Kayak Tours, she worked at Wickman House where she grew her passion for creating a beautiful experience for the locals and tourists of Door County.

“This is exactly the kind of company I hoped to work for when I moved here from the city”, said Ashley. “To be able to work outdoors with a team of people that share similar passions is a dream come true. I’m excited to grow with this team and see the joy we can bring to the people who love Door County as much as we do”

Known for its Cave Point Kayak Tours, E-Bike tours and rentals, and many other tours that showcase the beauty of Door County, we are committed to sharing the beauty of Door County’s History, Ecology and Geology with all ages.

Ashley plans to engage with the community to see what new activities people want to experience and to initiate more winter activities including an upcoming history bar crawl and winter hiking tours to Cave Point’s Ice Castles and Peninsula State Park’s Famous spots.
