This tour combines Electric Biking and Hiking. Explore the tip of the Peninsula on beautiful windy tree covered roads to a Bluff hike with a panoramic view of Washington Island and Death’s Door. Then cruise over to the oldest fishing village in Door County & hear about the maritime history.
This bike tour travels along the shores of Garrett Bay towards one of Door County’s oldest fishing village and a hike of a bluff to a panoramic view. Windy tree covered paved roads provide an enjoyable cruise. It is one of our most picturesque, enjoyable tours with plenty of variety.
No experience is necessary and Red Cross-trained instruction is provided. We meet at the Garrett Bay Boat Launch in Ellison Bay. After an introductory e-bike lesson and helmet fitting we adventure on. From there we head over to the Door Bluff County Park and search for a hike to a scenic overlook of the Death’s Door.. After hearing a narrative from the guide about the area, we head to Gills rock and hear about some maritime history and view the ferries. Take some photos and then bike back to the launch spot. An amazing tour with plenty of variety. Signup early, this one fills up quickly.
