This kayak tour travels along the shores of Peninsula State Park. One of the 5 gems of Door County. It is one of our most picturesque, enjoyable tours. We see many famous Door County sites on the Eagle Bluff Tour including Eagle Bluff lighthouse, Horseshoe Island, Chambers Island, Eagle Harbor, and of course, Eagle Bluffs.

What to expect:

No experience is necessary and Red Cross-trained instruction is provided.  We meet at our Reception and office area inbetween Fish Creek and Egg Harbor. Board our van and shuttle off to Peninsula state park. After an introductory lesson and a launch from (Depending on the wind direction) from Tennision Bay or Nicolet Bay. Cruise past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, Horseshoe Island and past Eagle Bluff with the towering cave up high. Then we end up back at Nicolet Bay Boat Launch where our van picks you up.


2.5 -3 hours total (~2 hours on water) 1 hour setup/transportation/instruction/checkout(group size dependent)

Eagle Bluff Kayak Tour Meeting LocationPLEASE ARRIVE 15-20 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME Look for a van/bus with a kayak trailer.

  • $55 / Person
  • Total time of 3 hours: 2 hours on the water + 1 hour getting started and finished.
On the day of your tour, we will make a final decision for the location of the tour. Location is dependent on wind strength/direction and group ability. Ultimately, the guide decides the location of the tour.

Our guides do their best to choose the safest and most enjoyable tour possible for the conditions. Please choose a day early in your vacation week and early in the day (8 AM & 10 AM have the calmest, most relaxing ride).

Cancellation Policy: If the conditions are not favorable for the bluff tour, you have 3 options; (1) Reschedule for another time (within 3-5 days), (2) Join a tour at another location at that time if available and if conditions are safe (3) Cancel and lose your deposit $10/Person. If there is lightning/thunder in the air, we do our best to reschedule everyone, if you are not able to reschedule, you will receive a full refund.

As we use sit on top tandem kayaks, our tours are great for kids ages 5+ and beginner paddlers!
