and our internal customer engagement tools that interact with Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). By using our
website, booking a tour, or engaging with us through Instagram or Facebook, you agree to these Terms.
2. Who we are
This site and these services are operated by Door County Kayak Tours LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company with
its principal place of business in Door County, Wisconsin, United States. Throughout these Terms, “we,” “us,” or “our”
refers to Door County Kayak Tours LLC. “You” or “your” refers to anyone using our site or services.

3. Use of our website and services
You may use our website and services for lawful, personal purposes related to booking and enjoying our kayak, e-bike,
and sauna experiences. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access areas you are not authorized to access,
scrape content for commercial purposes, or upload anything malicious or illegal.
4. Tour bookings, payments, and cancellations
Tour bookings are processed through our reservation partner, FareHarbor. Pricing, availability, weather cancellation
policies, and refund terms are stated at the point of booking and are part of the booking agreement you complete on
FareHarbor. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to weather, water conditions, staffing, or other
safety concerns. In those cases we will offer a reschedule or refund per our published policy.
You acknowledge that kayaking, paddleboarding, e-biking, and sauna activities involve inherent risks. By booking and
participating, you accept those risks and agree to follow guide instructions and safety protocols.
5. Use of Meta Platform Data (Instagram and Facebook)
We operate internal customer engagement tools that interact with Meta’s Instagram Graph API and Messenger Platform. If
you comment on, message, or otherwise interact with our Instagram or Facebook accounts, we may receive and process
the following data from Meta:
– Your Instagram or Facebook username and public profile information
– The content and timestamp of comments you post on our content
– The content and timestamp of direct messages you send to or receive from our accounts
– Identifiers Meta provides to us, such as your scoped user ID and comment IDs
We use this data only for the following purposes:
– Responding to your comment with a private reply, when you have explicitly opted in by commenting a keyword we asked
you to comment in our caption
– Continuing the resulting conversation with you in our Instagram Direct or Messenger inbox to answer questions, share
booking links, and provide customer support
– Routing your conversation through our customer service platform, OpenCX, so our team can respond promptly
– Sending transactional follow-up emails through SendGrid where you have separately provided your email address
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising targeting outside of Meta’s own ad systems, or use it for any
purpose unrelated to providing you customer support and tour information. We retain message and comment data only as
long as needed for those purposes and for our reasonable business records.

6. Your responsibilities
When you interact with us through our website, Instagram, Facebook, or other channels, you agree:

content for commercial purposes without our written permission. User-generated content you tag us in or send to us may
be reposted by us with credit, unless you tell us otherwise.

Our website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or
implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the site or our services beyond what is required by
law. Tour availability, weather conditions, and route descriptions are subject to change.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Door County Kayak Tours LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and
agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in
connection with your use of our website, our services, or our interactions through Meta platforms. Our total liability
for any claim relating to your use of our website or services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve
months preceding the claim.
This limitation does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer where those rights cannot be waived.

updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any
