Aja Fisher

Aja Fisher, a native to Wisconsin, is currently finishing up her last semester at Winona State University in Minnesota. Majoring in Recreation and Tourism with a minor in Adventure Tourism, she brings experience in a variety of outdoor activities. She realized her intense love for the outdoors while participating on a travel study abroad trip to Australia and New Zealand.

There she embarked on a journey to study the impacts of tourism on societies and cultures while having the opportunity to do some pretty amazing things. She scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef, whitewater kayaked down a glacier river, bungee jumped from 440 feet, whitewater rafted down a 25 foot water fall, and hiked across mountains, to name a few.

When not on a trip of a life time she enjoys being active, the summer months, being with friends and family, meeting new people, and trying new things. Her easy-going nature and positive attitude will leave you with some great memories and her passion for life and the outdoors is contagious. Although she is sad that her ‘wonder years’ are coming to an end, she is excited to be done with college so she can find a job that engulfs her in her passions. She is also looking forward to continue traveling to see what this world has to offer and where her next big adventure will be.
