Destination Info:

A fun paddle from protected Nicolet Bay to protected Horseshoe Island Bay or to Eagle Bluff. There are hikes on the island. There is no boat launch fee, but you are required to obtain a park sticker.

Driving Directions

Hwy 42 to Peninsula State Park entrance. Follow signs to Nicolet Beach Boat Launch.

Kayak Launch:

If you launch on the rocks next to the boat launch then you do not have to hurry because the boat launch is usually very busy.

Launch/Landing Fee

None, but a State Park Sticker or Day Pass is required to enter the park

Kayaking Precautions:

This is the hotspot to hang out on your boat, so it can be very, very busy, but also very happenin!

Fishing Tips:

Lotsa fish around peninsula state park. Fishing licenses and Great Lakes stamps can be purchased online.
