| Tips, Things To Do, Secret Spots | Fyr Bal Festival (fyr ball festival, Fireball festival mispellings) A Scandinavian Festival which celebrates the beginning of summer.Chieftain ceremony with ceremonial bonfire-lighting, fireworks at sunset over Eagle Harbor on Saturday night. The bonfires are used to burn the "winter witch". This is a great event to see by kayak! I suggest you launch from peninsula state park, as there is a lot of traffic in Ephraim during the festival. (3rd week of June) |
