A bit rocky, but pier protected and minimal usage

No fee, pick up a piece of trash on your way out.

Heavy boat traffic near marina and throughout Eagle Harbor, please make open water crossing as group, quickly and efficientlyDo not launch kayak at Ephraim Beach, it is against their Beach Regulations.Don't be afraid to write them an email and ask them to start allowing kayaks a designated area to launch on the side of the beach, You can contact them here:ephraim@dcwis.com

Fyr Bal Festival (fyr ball festival, Fireball festival mispellings)  A Scandinavian Festival which celebrates the beginning of summer.Chieftain ceremony with ceremonial bonfire-lighting, fireworks at sunset over Eagle Harbor on Saturday night. The bonfires are used to burn the "winter witch". This is a great event to see by kayak! I suggest you launch from peninsula state park, as there is a lot of traffic in Ephraim during the festival. (3rd week of June)
